Gaboleps
Gaboleps, the artistic name of Gabriel Romero, is an Argentinian illustrator and concept artist from Haedo, Buenos Aires, now based in Wellington, New Zealand. He initially studied film and began his career as a young motion designer before returning to painting and drawing, skills he has practiced since childhood. His background in film, motion graphics, and traditional art informs a multidisciplinary approach to his creative work. In addition to his professional illustration—seen in projects such as Magic: The Gathering—he has exhibited personal oil paintings alongside independent artists in New Zealand. Outside of art, he is an amateur bandoneon player and tango dancer.
