Axel D. is a Swiss-based French illustrator and concept artist specializing in fantasy work. He illustrated for Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast from 2019 to 2022, contributing to titles like Wildemount, Rime of the Frostmaiden, The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, and Call of the Netherdeep. His freelance credits include Amber Isle (Ambertail Games) and concept art for Roo: Wrath of Gilgamesh. Axel holds a Character Animation BA from The Animation Workshop in Denmark.
