Vallez Gax

Vallez Gax (known professionally as Gax) is a French illustrator and freelance art director whose work blends symbolism, monsters, and occult imagery inspired by early encounters with Dungeons & Dragons. Influenced by artists such as Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel the Elder, he has created book covers for Third Editions and Dark Horse, contributed illustrations for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and NieR Replicant, and collaborated with creators including VaatiVidya and Laink & Terracid. His comics work includes contributions to Label 619’s Midnight Tales and his own title Berzerkid, and he recently served as art director for Aetheris, shaping the game’s distinctive visual style.
